Having been a professional wedding photographer for over 10 years, I have heard some amazing stories about couples’ journeys to their big day. But I have to say Steph and Sam’s journey is one of the most remarkable stories I’ve ever heard. I won’t go into all the details, but it involves competing for an exclusive Japanese study abroad program, a love triangle, a 7 hour post-earthquake rescue mission, and a Harry Potter proposal! The latter of which was published by Cosmopolitan, The Telegraph UK and Houston Chronicle! And who do you hire to plan an extraordinary wedding to celebrate this extraordinary couple? You guessed it, Kat Creech Events. I was curious to see how Kat would bring the Harry Potter theme to her designs and as usual, she did not disappoint. The first thing I noticed was the aisle runner made up of pages from Harry Potter books. Then there was the Quidditch inspired guest card hoops and custom design crest for the couple.
